When Did Brian Eno Start His Music Career?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Eno started his musical career with Roxy Music in London. He worked with them from 1971 to 1973. After completing the tour to focus their album, For Your Pleasure, Eno quit the band as a result of disagreements with Bryan Ferry, Roxy's lead writer and singer, as well as, his boredom with life of a touring star.

He embarked on a solo career in 1973, creating four influential solo pop albums named Taking Tiger Mountain, Before and after Science, Here Come the Warm Jets and Another Green World. He continued to produce a large number higly electic and acoustic albums. In 1975, he started the Obscure label in Britain. The aim of Obscure was to release the works by less known composers. In 2004, Eno recorded The Equatorial Stars with Fripp and is currently working on the Will Wright's 2007 game soundtrack.
