Go to your local library and look at resume books. Then select a format that fits your taste and add your information and history. Or look online, How to write a resume for a mechanic. I've found the best way to get a job is either the YELLOW PAGES or in person. Go to different places everyday and let them know your services are available. Go to STAPLES office supply store and get some inexpensive business cards printed and start giving them out.

I am not sure how many mechanics actually use a resume. If so I would add things like if you can repair both foreign and domestic and you main strengths of your trade
