This is yet another romantic paranormal book written by the very popular Maggie Shayne. This book revolves around the romance of a mortal and immortal. Witch Puabi has been seeking revenge all her life. But now after several years she finally meets a man and is filled with such intense desire and other feelings that she thought she lost forever and would never fell ever again. Matthew Fairchild also feels the same especially because this beautiful woman reminds him of his long lost wife. But will this thought bring back pain and anger in Puabi that she has forever felt or will this woman blessed with magical gifts help to mend his broken heart.

We all can determine what happens next but read this book if you love Maggie Shayne for the romance and passion between the two protagonists will only end up leaving your throat dry and wanting more.
