Simplify The Following Expression : (3i The Square Root Of 6)^2 I Dont Understand How To Work This Out To Get The Answer . And "I" Means -1 Right?

Answer Question

To solve this equation you must multiply 3i√6 by two. So 3i√6 x 3i√6 which the square roots cancel out because the square root of 6 x the square root of 6 = √36 = 6. (36 = perfect square). Now you have 3i(6). You then multiply 3 times 6 which equals 18i. And no i does not = -1. It just equals i. But, i^2 equals -1. ;D
