    Job satisfaction is the contentment of a worker with his/her job. It is measured by Job Descriptive Index (JDI), created by Smith, Kendall, & Hulin (1969), Job in General Index, Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS), MSQ and Faces Scale. Measuring job satisfaction is considered very important because the higher the job satisfaction of the people, the higher will be the performance of the employees. Human resource is the major asset for any company therefore, high job satisfaction enhances the performance of the workers and it also increase the ability of the organization to retain the workers. The objective of measuring job satisfaction is to determine whether people are happy or not. On the basis of the results the decisions like job rotation, job enlargement and job enrichment can be made. Moreover, measuring job satisfaction has become the major task of HR departments in the organizations to track the complains and satisfaction of the employees.
