What Does Third Person Mean?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The third person is a technique used to talk about the subject of a sentence. Alternatively, you can speak in the first person or the second person.

The third person is talking as if the subject is not the person(s) you are talking to, for example, he, she, it, they.

The second person is talking as if the subject is the person you are talking to, for example, you.

The first person is talking as if the subject is yourself, for example I, we.
