If you are flying from southeast Asia, you will almost certainly have to catch a connecting flight in Vancouver, Toronto or London-Heathrow, in order to fly on to Edmonton. There are no direct flights. Prices will vary dramatically, depending on your location in southeast Asia, but if you were flying out from Singapore the $2,300 to $2,800 range would be reasonable. Jet Airways, for example, has flights that cost $2,700. You will have to fly through Heathrow. Flying out from Tokyo would be much cheaper and this is what I recommend. You can find return tickets for $1075 with Air Canada, if you travel in November or early December.
