    Holistic medicine is characterized by the prevention and treatment policy which combines all four aspects of human system ~ body, mind, emotions and environment ~ in order to pursue the goal of cure. It stresses on the fact that alone an organ or few organs cannot be responsible for any disease, rather it is a mere reflection of original problem that the system holds within. It emphasizes on the inclusion of various alternative therapies and treatments ~ namely, Ayurveda, Herbal, Acupuncture, etc. It also focuses on the management of life-style modification and self-care management. Though not all of the policies included with holistic treatment pattern prove authenticity in the light of scientific experimentation till yet, but its popularity increasing in a significant pattern. In holistic treatment policy, the treatment process continues with contemporary medical practices in accordance but doesn't consider them only a solution.
