What Are The Uses For A Dictaphone For A Writer?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

There are many uses of a Dictaphone for a writer, there are several that I can think of the top of my head, recording quick ideas whilst out or whilst in bed or in the shower or on the toilet, of course this often means carrying the little Dictaphone around with you a lot, but that's the price for capturing your best ideas down quickly and conveniently.

Of course, you can use it record your ranting and raving as your improvise and spontaneously talk aloud, this can be freeing, make sure you get one with good microphone and noise reduction for make ground noise and a good little headphone socket, so you can listen back without interrupting others!

It is a great device for keeping snatches of information, the digital type can record a lot of information and even transfer it to your computer.  The analogue type allows quick rewind when working.
