Answer Question

Although the extent of smog has decreased in the atmosphere of the United States, it is  facing another problem that is even more perilous.  In more precise terms, the eastern part of the country, which is also densely populated in comparison to other parts of the United States, is showing the increased addition of soot particles in the atmosphere, which is of a very dangerous and harmful nature.  This piece of information was presented by the American Lung Association during the stretch of last week.  Although the ALA expressed satisfaction about the decreased proportion of smog from the atmosphere, the concern was replaced by the worry of  the presence of soot particles in the atmosphere, which was overwhelming the eastern atmosphere.  Soot pollution, which is also called 'particle pollution' received a series of criticism from the American Lung Association in its State of the Air report.  According to the organization, the soot pollution was a result of the coal-fired power plants in the eastern part of the United States.
