I Have A Lexmark Printer / No Disc And I Downloaded A Driver But The Install Wizard Is Not Picking Up The Information And Adding It To The List So That I Can Install. Am I Missing A Step?

I think I am missing a step in the process of adding a printer. I don't have a disc but I did go to the lexmark site and downloaded the driver onto my computer but I don't know where to go from there.

If you can't find the driver,  go to start (on your taskbar) - find - files or folderstype Lexmark. Make sure "my computer" is the search option. Many files will appear. Look for the file with the date of your dwld. The file desc. Will tell you where the file is. Go to printers, bring up your lex, make sure it is default. Bring up properties, update driver, specify location, browse, follow path of your file desc. Opening each file till you get to urs.
