Answer Question

Kit is a slang usually used in the software language. It is called a DEC slang which is used for a full software distribution, it is contradicting to a patch or an upgrade. It is a source software distribution which has been packaged in a way in which it can be unpacked and can be installed as per the series of steps which can be done only using the standard UNIX tools. It can be documented entirely by a couple of reasonable chain of references from the first level README file

A set of articles or implements used for a specific purpose: In slang/drug terms a "kit" consists of the articles used to inject drugs such as heroin/cocaine , it was used much more back in the 60's and 70's it includes a needle, a "cooker", a stocking or belt and a small piece of cotton. I think this is what your looking for, please let me know
