    Is Excessive Thirst And Vomiting Indicative Of FIP?

    My cat has been drinking lots of water nad every few weeks has spells of vomitinh. The lab work says FIP, but I don't see those symptons on the FIP website.

    Feline Infectious Peritonitis is a multisystemic disease which means it can involve multiple systems of the body. Some metabolic disturbances can turn into thirst and vomiting. There might some be concurrent problem too. Therefore it can not be rule in or out on the basis of these two signs you mentioned. If lab says its FIP then it is better you get her examined by your veterinarian. FIP is a serious disease, therefore you should not wait to diagnose it yourself on the web. See you soon
