How Old Do You Have To Become A Police?

    You can start training to become a policeman as soon as you leave school but there is a lot of training that will take a fair few years to do all the training required

      Most police departments want their applicants to have full driver's licenses and high school diplomas (although these days they'd prefer college diplomas).  They also need to be old enough to legally carry handguns.  That means that applicants need to be over 18 in some places, and over 21 in others.
