My 8 Year Old Daughter Has Fine Straight Hair, Which Is Very Dry And Keeps Breaking Off Easily. She Swims Once A Week. Could This Be The Cause? What Can I Do To Make It In Better Condition?

My 8 year old daughter has very dry weak, thin, hair. The hair breaks very easily. Although her hair is very straight, it also seems very dry. She has a lot of breakages, which leaves her hair looking in very bad condition. I do not put her hair up very often as its shoulder length and i don't want to cause anymore damage. She swims once a week, could this be the problem? What can i use to solve this?

There can be several reasons to it, and some of the major reasons may include that your daughter is not carrying on a proper diet or probably her body is lacking the basic ingredients that are essential for the growth of nice and healty hair. Therefore my suggestion to you would be that you take your daughter to a hair specialist or you can also visit some online web pages that could also be a guideline www.haircarehelp.com, www.hairparlor.com. Hope this helps, and also since your daughter is too small it would be preferable that you give it some time probably with the passage of time it will be fine.
