Which brand of battery lasts the longest?
Get a bunch of batteries (the same size for each one) from different brands. Plug each one up to the same device and record how long it takes for the battery to die. Keep good records and take pictures!
Cool! I am actually in 8th grade and we did this big project that had to be on a tri-board in science. I did and experiment recording the growth of plants with different liquids like diet coke, regular coke, diet sprite, regular sprite, root beer, diet doctor peeper, or regular doctor peeper, to see which one would grow the largest and which one would grow the smallest amount. I tried with Radish seeds because they grow the fastest.

1. Do different colors of light affect plant growth?
The purpose of this project is to find out if is heartbeat affected by music. My science fair group’s experiment had to do with the heart beat. We had kids walk up and down stairs for 3 minutes and recorded the heartbeat. Then we had them do the same thing 2 more times, except that music was playing (rock and classical) while they were running.


      The purpose of this project is to determine how well a person remembers the things they see on television. I think a person who is told to remember details will versus one who is not. By doing this experiment, I hope to find out more about the way the human brain works.
