The play "A Midsummer Night's dream" by William Shakespeare is a comedy that is one of the more popular plays of the bard the world over. It is one of Shakespeare's more colourful plays and one that inter twined the world of reality with that of fantasy. At the core of the story is the love Hermia has in her heart for Lysander and her unwillingness to marry Demetrius who her father wishes her to marry. In the background there is the wedding of the Amazonian Queen Hippolyta with the Duke of Athens Theseus.

When Hermia and Lysander flee into the forest followed by Demetrius and Helena (Helena is love with Demetrius). Chaos ensures as the spells the fairies and demigods cast on one another affect the humans as well. At the end of it all the right couples end up together and all's well that ends well.
