The press are saying that Mr Bush supports the Jewish occupation of Israel. Hardly big news. As the majority of Jews in Israel have come from the USA the president of USA is pretty much obliged to support them, or face the wrath of thousands of Jews in the states. It's the same with the IRA thing - the American presidents always seem to support them, but they can't alienate the Irish vote in the states. It's all politics. Dirty, cynical politics. As for his religion - I neither know nor care, but you can bet your life it's Christian. Which of the many branches? He probably doesn't know himself.

I couldn't agree more, karmabum (nice) with your comment on politics. They do say though, that the public deserve the Politicians they get. Doesn't say much for us,does it?

The press referring to Mr. Bush as a Zionist means he belongs to a political movement which supports the reestablishment of a home for the Jews in Palestine. Zionism is not a religion. Mr. Bush's home church is a Methodist church in Texas, Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas. Whether he takes what he hears there to heart only he can answer. I hope I answered both your queries as I don't have the time or inclination to "take" 100 lines.

I really don't know what religion George Bush follows, but it isn't the Press's job to say if he's a Zionist or not.

Being from England you hopefully are familiar with the English language. In England are have and has interchangeable? How is it "take" replaces write? Query & queue are proper nouns or are they just capitalized for some other reason?
