It is normal for hair to change color as dogs grow.  Puppies have a different coat than when they become adults.  As they grow dogs will shed their puppy coat and when the adult hair grows in it can feel different and may be a different color.  If you have any concerns or there are any skin abnormalities have your dog examined by a veterinarian.

Puppies are typically black and tan but the adults can be blue or silver in color. Search on the AKC (American Kennel Club) page and review the color patterns for Yorkies. And again if you are concerned have your puppy examined by your veterinarian. Lastly is it possible this is not a purebred?
