Does 3 Day Pay Or Quit Notice Have To Be In Special Form, such As Registered With The Sate, notarized Before Issuing To Tenant? Or Can The Landlord Just Make-up Their Notice?

Can the landlord issue a 3 day pay or quit notice with its own writing or is there a special procedure / form that is used. Does he notice have to be registered with the state /county and if so how will i know? Does it have to be notarized. Can the landlord just write what they want to write?

There is no answer to this question without more facts. Each state has its own Landlord/Tenant laws. If you are able to read and understand writing that is complex, you can find your state's statutes on line with your search engine. Example, "Alabama Statutes." State statutes may be difficult to understand, so if you have not found your answer, I suggest you contact the Legal Aid office in your area. Attorneys with Legal Aid routinely handle Landlord/Tenant questions, and if you need legal representation, you may qualify for help.
