What Are My Chances Of Getting Pregnant Again After 3 Miscarriages?

I have just had my third miscarriage in a year Aug 2007, Dec 2007, and Aug 2008. What are my chances of ever carrying a baby? Has anyone had a successful pregnancy after three miscarriages in a row? No children yet at all. Suggestions?

You could have a disorder in which your body see's the baby as being harmful to you and cause's your own body to attack the baby. if this is what is causing the miscarriages then it is possible to carry a baby full term with the treatment.

Keep the faith!  I must tell myself this all the time!  I've had two miscarriages in the past six months.  Be sure you trust your doctor.  Mine began infertility testing after a year without us getting pregnant and has now begun testing to determine possible causes of the miscarriages.  The testing has produced no answers yet, but I do trust that children are not in God's plan for us right now.  We are trying again this month :-)  "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future!" (Jeremiah 29:11)  Your future does include children; you must believe and have faith in that!

it is possible to still have a child i did but first you need to find out why you keep loosing them. Make sure you're not diabetic to cause that could effect you like that also. See a high-risk doctor in your area and ask for all the points of advice they can suggest and have them help you see the pattern cause after three there is a pattern created already

Hi I'm 39 and fell pregnant three times in a row and lost them. I haven't got previous children. I only started trying just before I turned 39.  I know the emotional pain involved.

The first miscarriage was a trisomy 13, the second didn't implant and the third one is getting tested for a chromosomal defect which I'm sure it would be.

My dr who is also a fertility specialist and my last obstretician just  said it was a "random" thing and that I've just had rotten luck so far. I know I can fall pregnant easily again just have to believe next time its a healthy baby.

I know a women who had 8 miscarriages in a row and then had 2 healthy boys around the time she was forty or over forty. I found that reassuring.

You'd be surprised how many have repeat miscarriages..its not just something you advertise with a big horn.....its too sad to speak about. I haven't hardly told anyone about mine. Not even my own family.
