The world of dating has changed quite a bit since the advent of the internet. No longer do you have to get all prettied-up and go to a club or a bar. No longer do you have to hang out in a grocery store for hours searching for the right guy or girl to talk up. Now, all you have to do is set up a profile and send a few Emails.

If you are a freakishly huge pretty person that is having a hard time finding a freakishly tall mate, then Tall Friends is for you. Tall Friends promotes itself as:
“This is the best place for looking for tall dating relationship or marriage. We bring together tall-dating minded singles from USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe and more. Here you could mingle with tall singles, tall beautiful women and tall handsome men.”
One would think that tall people would have no problem meeting other tall people seeing as they can instantly spot each other as they tower over all the small peons in bars and clubs. But, no. Tall people now need a place that is entirely faceless, yet height-specific to find a love partner.
This site has to go down as one of the most insane ideas in the history of the internet.
When the dating game on the outside is a bit too rough for you, all you have to do is sign on to womenbehindbars.com and you’ll have access to hundreds of women that are, quite literally, in prison.
The funny thing about the site is that prisons don’t have internet access. So all of the profiles were written by women that weren’t in prison yet, but they knew they were going and that when they were in there it was going to be very lonely if they don’t have a pen pal.
Up there I said that Women Behind Bars is probably the “one of the most insane ideas in the history of the internet.” Well, No Longer Lonely is almost literally that place.
The name No Longer Lonely brings up mental images of people that just can’t find that perfect someone. Of people that are knee deep in the dating scene but just don’t like everything around them. Of people that maybe spend their off hours playing Dungeons and Dragons for hours on end while trying level up their female mage in World of Warcraft.
But, no. It is not for the lonely average Joe. It is for the lonely schizophrenic, or the lonely bipolar.
Yes, the site is dedicated to bringing together people with severe mental illnesses. This is not a good thing. Well, it sounds like it would be a cute idea. Bringing together people that have some terrible medical conditions so they can find love together. But, really, why would you want to bring an un-healthy amount of crazy together with another un-healthy amount of crazy. It seems like the perfect recipe for a crime spree.

This sticky-icky-lovers site hopes to bring together people that prefer staying in and watching their fingers than actually going somewhere and doing something romantic. If these people take a long walk on the beach it will be at midnight during some kind of bohemian bonfire drum circle. The site warns that they are no liable for any injury or death you may incur by using their site. So, if you have a wild romp with a sexy little thing, and your wife/husband finds out, your massive brain trauma or your death will not be the fault of Ashley Madison.
