There Is A Eviction...Is There Anything I Can Do About Collection Of The Rent He Owes?
 Well have you gone to the court house and filed an eviction cause technically you can't do anything until then.If so you can still go to the court house and file a civil law suit against him for the money he owes and there is no judge gonna say that he doesn't have to pay because he was physically there and it is not fair to you.But go to the court house they'll help you they will even call a sheriff to evict him. |

You didn't say that you are a landlord but I assume you are and that you have a deadbeat tenant. Free rent since when? Woo Hoo! That ol' boy found a gold mine in you! Since this has been going on for 5-months, I'd say you should abandon the DIY approach and get expert help. Maybe you should engage a lawyer, a property management company, or sell the property to someone more well prepared to deal with these kinds of problems. |
