Although its much different than other languages, it does provide some benefits.For example:
1) It is a simple program that allows you to create your interfaces by simple drag and drop actions
2) The code is extremely simplified, as well there are several little issues that you don't need to worry about[but you would in java, c++, or any other language]
3) It takes very little time to create programs/applications
4) It is a great introduction to the logic that is required in Programming.
If your looking to make a program for personal/commercial use, trying to improve your logic, or plan on learning programming in general and don't have much experience, then it could be a good place to start.
