What Is Storyboard Format?

When something is being depicted in the storyboard format, it is being presented in such a way that what exactly is going to be pasteurized is being shown on paper itself and it helps for the further improvement of the project.
       
Usually you can find the use of the word in the context of advertising when agencies present their concepts to the clients in the storyboard format. What they do is to first devise an idea for an advertisement film and then they create a storyboard for it. With the storyboard they can present to the client what the film is going to be and then get their approval. It helps them to save cost as if they made a film and then present it, it is very costly and also narrating the story in written or oral form may be confusing. So it is good to illustrate the story well.
