 Well, it can be determined only after a thorough check up. Is this lump under its skin or on the skin? Is it hard, fluid filled? You should immediately take it to vet. One possibly is this that mites are grown there in its skin that is creating this problem. Mites create an infection under its skin till the skin comes off.
