If you think that banking will make you happy then it is the right thing for you to do, if you think that you will be miserable then it will probably turn out to be the worst thing you ever do.

What ! Banking, oh my friend if you have much interest in banking, so dont let it down.do it and you will reach to high position in it. But i am sure that if you are going just for some another reason, so it will be very bad for you. Think that you are an engineering student, u have never done account and any another commercial work, and in banking job, by doing this type of work, you will bore very soon if you lose your interest. So my friend plz be careful in that and remember that an engineer should always be an engineer not just by degree but by his passion also.
