Have You Ever Had Turkey Or Chicken Noodle Soup With Home Made Noodles?

I won't eat it without the home made noodles, they are so much better tasting.

Take one egg, dash salt, and add flour mix with spoon to begin with, then add a little more flour and mix until it has the consistency of elastic. Roll out, slice, ( I use an herb cutter) and place in a pot of chicken broth with chicken and veggies, See my soup group for the chicken soup recipe.

I actually tried making my own home-made noodles one time.  Rolled and cut them out on the table.  But they must not have been rolled thick enough, because when I added them to the broth, they puffed up really BIG!  Were not good!  So now I buy those Ressers frozen semi home-made noodles at the grocery store and they are just as good, I think.

Honey, never measure home made noodles. Start with one egg, add a dash of salt, add some flour, mix with fork, then add some more flour, mix, keep doing this until you need to mix with your hands. Add more flour, (don't do a lot at a time), keep doing this until the dough is like elastic, and let them rest for about 5 minutes, then roll them out and slice to about 1/8 inch thick, because they do swell, and they are good that way. If you try it, let me know how they turn out for you.

Also, just use chicken bouillon, or just broth, to cook them in, this way you aren't wasting chicken or turkey if you don't like them. They are good with just the broth too, I make them like that as part of the meal, and strain them as I pull them out of the broth. They are good with pepper and parsley and maybe a little salt, but only if you use the broth, not the bouillon. Love ya. Tigg
