You need to be already on your own, usually with parental supervision, but not necessary, have a job, and apt. Car, be able to make appointments, get your food and pay  your bills, then you go to the court, file for emancipation, and they will give you a court date. Hope this helps, good luck to you.

Ok...but I'm not able to live on my own because my parents would consider me a runaway. What do I do then?

You can still ask that the court give you the chance to prove that you can do this, if you give the right information to them about how you would live on your own, then they might consider it.
