How Do You Make Door Knobs Shiny?

In order to get a shiny doorknob you will have to polish your doorknob until it shines. This will work very well if your door knob is made out of some metal. It is good to polish your door knob at least once a week. If your doorknob is metal then spray your knob with some cleaner (there are plenty of brands available in any store or supermarket) and then rub it with a clean dry cloth. This should do the trick. However if your doorknob is wooden then you will have to buy some varnish and polish the knob.

There are basically three types of doorknobs. The first is entrance knobs which usually include keyed cylinders and are generally used to secure doors. Privacy knobs are those knobs typically used on the doors of bathrooms or bedrooms and they do not have keyed cylinders but are lockable. The third type is dummy knobs which do not serve any purpose other than the ornamental one.
