    What Would Cause Ceramic Tile To Flake Almost Like A Rash? It's Outside In The Elements?

    The tile is on front porch and side porch no covering. Some of the tile looks like it has a rash and its breaking up just on the very top surface its not lifting from the bottom at all the tile has been down for 8 months and just the last month or so this started happening. Could this be a problem with the tile or is this the contractors fault? Who would be responsible?

    Ceramic tile should not be exposed to outside elements fullstop. That is what is most probably causing it to flake it is for inside use only
