What Are The Symptoms Of Feline Stroke?

My 18 year old Persian cat is listless and has in the last 24 hours lost interest in food and lies in her bed unwilling to move. She was diagnosed w/underactive hyroid. We are using liquid vitamins and a throid med in a topical ointment applied to the ear. I have tried anchovie paste to try to stimulate her appetite.Any thing else we can do to make her comfortable until we can see a vet?

True feline strokes are uncommon in cats and those that do have them usually recover faster and more completely than humans. They may remain slightly lopsided.
Following a stroke, the cat might be temporarily blind or partly paralyzed and may lose control of bladder or bowel.

    Thanks I appreciate the information.
The vet pretty much said the same thing today.
Strokes are apparently difficult to diagnose in cats but we have high hopes that the situation is only related to a potasium deficiency or other issue. Drug thearapy should indicate if we have the issue or not but the symptoms seem to be too mind for it to be q real stroke.
    Thanks again.
