Answer Question

Evesham is an ancient market town in England. It is located in the county of Worcestershire. Evesham is situated on the banks of the River Avon. It has a rich religious history, as one of the wealthiest monasteries in the country was located in Evesham. The Almonry is now the only remaining place of worship in the town and has been converted into an information centre for tourists. The abbots of the monastery in Evesham were the pioneers in growing fruit and organising market gardens to sell their produce.

The Vale of Evesham is a place which is famous from growing fruits and vegetables such as plums and asparagus. The famous markets held on a weekly basis in the town include the Evesham Market (which is held every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday), the Evesham Outdoor Market (every Saturday), the Evesham Farmers' Market (on the fourth Friday of every month) and the Evesham County Market (every Friday).
