Usually our human body can control and regulate its own temperature. However, when the body gets too hot, it deploys several natural methods to cool it down. One such method is sweating. When a person exposes himself to a lot of heat, without intake of sufficient liquids, the body’s natural cooling processes fail leading to dehydration.

Subsequently, the human body witness’s symptoms such as headache, nausea, vomiting, muscle cramps. If measures are not taken to lessen body temperature, this can then worsen into heat stroke, which is a potentially life-threatening form of heat illness.

Body proteins and the membranes around the cells in the body, especially in the brain, begin to be destroyed or malfunction, leading a person to develop neurological changes. This can also affect internal organs, causing breakdown of the heart muscle cells and blood vessels, damage to internal organs, and in some cases even death.
