I went home at lunch and she seems to be OK.
More than likely she didn't swallow the needle.. The chances of it getting past her mouth without sticking in the flesh is very low. If it did make it past her mouth it would have probably stuck her in the throat. Look for bleeding from the mouth or nose. Call your vet and ask what he recommends you do. If on the minute chance that the needle did make it into her stomach, there is no way she will pass it. The intestinal tract of a dog is small and has a lot of bends. The needle would stab somewhere in the bends. If she swallowed it the vet would have to surgically remove it. Watch for bleeding from the rectum. In the mean time... Vacuum everywhere, and inspect the vacuum bag for the needle. Good Luck...I hope she's ok

Don't give her anything to eat but water for today and see how it goes. Introduce food gently. If she did eat it, you want it to pass as gently as possible through the bowels.

Take your puppy to the vet, perhaps an exray would show it, or wait for him to dispose of his waste!
