    Fahrenheit 9/11, which is an award winning documentary film, was released on 25th June, 2004. This movie was directed by the American filmmaker as well as the political activist named Michael Moore. However, due to the various controversies it holds, Moore termed the movie as a "satirical documentary" on The Late Show with David Letterman in November 2004. The film debuted at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival in the documentary film class and was awarded the Palme d'Or (Golden Palm), the festival's uppermost award, by an worldwide panel of adjudicators (four North Americans, four Europeans, and one Asian).

    The movie was directed by Michael Moore and produced by Michael Moore, Jim Czarnecki and Kathleen Glynn. The movie starred Michael Moore and George W. Bush.
