    Conjoint is an adjective that means joined united, together or combined. It could mean consisting of, of, or concerning two or more than two entities that are combined or associated; or simply joint.

    A synonym for the word conjoint is conjoined. The adverb form of conjoint is conjointly.
    In music conjoint degrees refers to two notes that immediately follow each other in order of the scale, such as ut and re. Conjoint tetrachords are two tetrachords or fourths, in which a note is simultaneously the lowest of one and the highest of the other; it is also written as conjunct. The conjoint was also formerly a fundamental medical qualification awarded in the United Kingdom.

    Conjoint has its roots as past participle of the word conjoinen, which comes from Anglo-French, which is the past participle of the word conjoindre.
