My Pom Is 4 Months Old And Weighs 9 Pounds, Is That Too Big For A Pom?
My boyfriend says due to his size, he is not a pom. Please help.

Show standard Poms can weigh a maximum of 5 and a half pounds, so yours is big. However - this does not mean he is not a Pom - all these really small breeds do produce some that are oversize for showing.

Poms weigh average between 4 and 8 lbs. Your dog might be a little bit over weight. Check with your vet next time you are in for a check up and shots and see what they say weight wise.
