The north-eastern part of the United States of America consists of the following states such as New England, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania among many others. These states usually experience a cold and wet climate for the maximum months in a year. Potatoes require a hot kind of climate in order to grow it properly. Not all parts of the north-eastern U.S. will have a good growth of potatoes. Even if you wish to plant them, you have to make sure you immediately plant them when the summer begins because as winter arrives the crop will start rotting and rot the entire field of potatoes.
