    Keller is a city located in the Tarrant County, Texas, USA. The total population of this place according to the census conducted in the year 2000 was 27,345.

    The first ever Texas and Pacific Railroad which ran between Fort Worth and Texarkana was inaugurated in April 1881. The first ever train that ever plied on this track was on May 9th 1881. With the launch of railway lines many new villages were setup one of them being Keller itself.

    Keller started to develop and blossom after rail roads were established, it became a trade hub for the neighbouring farming community. The first person to start a business after railways arrived was C.C. Nance; railways helped Nance's business to prosper on a large scale. The Keller Independent School is the schooling institution in this city.
