When someone practices voodoo on a person that person opens their selves up to the spirits and they  become as a host for the evil spirit, the spirit then controls them, if you allow someone to practice voodoo around you they can capture your spirit and control your spirit man, without you even knowing. My advise to you would be to abstain from such things, it is not worth it and it is not a game.
