There is a great number and varieties of pubs clubs and bars in this cosmopolitan city.
If you are looking for a pub then you might like one of the many Wetherspoon public houses in the city. Macsorleys is a great pub which hosts a lot of live music. Lauders on Sauchiehall Street boasts a central location and a good jukebox!

If you prefer bars then there are plenty to choose from! Some of the nicest are on Bath Street and are situated on the lower level. These include Rust, Mosquito and Elliot's. There are also a number on Sauchiehall Street, close to Charing Cross. These include Edwards, Mojama and Nicos.

If you decide to move on to a club, the Garage on Sauchiehall Street is one of the most popular. A favourite student haunt, it is cheap and very cheerful. They occasionally play host to live bands. The Cathouse on Union Street is for those of you who are more into rock music than the main stream. A popular and friendly place, the Cathouse also holds regular band nights. All clubs are open till at least 3am.
