What Books Should Be Read In The First Year Of College?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

If you mean academically, then you try and read books that are relevant to your year along with books that will cover topics in the future. Several professors believe that concentrating on the current year's syllabus is greatly beneficial as it helps build a better foundation for the future and that the student is not mature enough or ready to cope with the next year's syllabus. Academics of any discipline are usually structured in such a way that learning becomes a step by step process. If reading for pleasure that read those books that are both of your interest and that relate to your course of study. A detective novel may be fun to read but it won't much help you with calculus or trigonometry.
