Yes you can, but you must first prime them with a special primer especially designed for slick surfaces.
Zinsser123 is a very good primer. Make sure you get the proper primer. It is made to paint over slick surfaced cabinets.
Read the directions on the can though, because there is a certain amount of curing time before you can apply the paint over it.

Not and have it stick. Best to take a electric sander with rough sandpaper to it first and get the shine off and rough it up so the paint will stick
