What Is Essential Tremor?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Essential tremor would mean a neurological disorder in which a typical symptom would be shaking of hands (in addition to other body parts at times including the head), which is set off by intentional movements. Remember that while these symptoms would be the more common ones, this condition can affect just about any portion of your body. You find that it can happen in particular when attempting simple tasks like when brushing your teeth.

You can note that essential tremor ranks on top of common movement disorders. In fact you will notice that it's much more widespread as compared to Parkinson's disease. It is often mistaken for with Parkinson's disease. Thus condition, unlike the latter, doesn't result in further serious complications.
