    Romanesque art refers to the art of Western Europe and it emerged in 1000AD to the rise of the Gothic art in 13th century. This art is characterized as having a vigorous style especially in paintings and sculptures. It also reflects the Byzantine iconographic models and the scenes from the life of Christ. In the stained glass the primary and bright colors were used in paintings. Today there are very few survival of this stained glass art work. The composition in this art is a little deep and therefore, it is considered as one of the recurrent themes of Romanesque art. The sizes of figures vary greatly because of the importance and the background of landscape.
