Not only pit bulls but also all dogs should be used for breeding after 2 years of age because at this age male dogs have good quality of sperms and female dogs are physically mature enough to afford stress of pregnancy and labor. Before using dogs for breeding, get fitness certificate from the vet and some of the fitness tests are possible at the age of 2 years. So, you should breed your pit bull after 2 years of age.
