I Have A Long Bus Journey To Take, What Can I Do To Entertain Myself?

Well, at the risk of sounding ridiculous, I guess, why not look out of the window and enjoy some of the scenery for a start, then perhaps if you get bored or if you don't like the scenery (i.e cos it's motorway or freeway or highway or whatever its called where you are) you can always sleep. I once slept for sixteen hours on a bus journey from one part of Australia to another.  I used herbal sleeping tablets, but it worked.

You could also read, some people are sick on transport when they read, but others can avoid motion sickness this way.  If you have a laptop, you could watch a film, either downloaded or on DVD (wear ear phones for the sake of the other passengers).

If you have a personal stereo, disc man or mp3 player, you could download an audio book or you could listen to some music.  A personal radio might also be good, but listen to national channels, so you don't have to keep fiddling with the channel.
