Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

For every year pass the 10 year mark that is the age that you have to keep it before it fully matures.  Every year pass that a percentage is added.  So, example it might be worth, $520 or more.  Go to the bank and see.

I bought $100 dollar saving bonds at work. I am 78 years old. I cashed in some of the bonds but I still had some bonds not cashed in. I lost these bonds. How can I find out info about these lost bonds?

Do you have the serial numbers for the bonds that you lost? If so, i'm sure that you can go to a bank and they would be able to tell you about what to do. Maybe, if there were never cashed and you have copies of them and proof that you were the owner you might still be able to collect. You never know if you don't try.. Good luck!!!
