The deepest ocean is the Pacific ocean because it has the greatest average depth which is equal to 12,925 feet, or almost 2 1/2 miles. In the Mariana Trench, Pacific ocean also has the maximum deepest depth which is equal to 35,840 feet, or a little more than 6 3/4 miles.
